Before & After – Transformations of Love

With gentle hands, patience, and endless affection, these cats have grown into happy, healthy, and confident companions. Each transformation is a beautiful reminder of how love and care can change lives.

The heart behind the sanctuary.
Dr. Nancy dreamed of creating a safe haven for abandoned and neglected animals, and she brought that dream to life with Lori joining her along the way. From the very beginning, they’ve dedicated themselves to giving every animal the love, care, and attention it deserves. What began as a small sanctuary in Mexico has now grown to a new location in Panama, and they’re excited to keep expanding—reaching more animals, spreading hope wherever it’s needed, and supporting local organizations along the way.

In Loving Memory of Lalo
This year, we lost a beautiful soul — Lalo — in a tragic accident. He was deeply loved in Mahahual, not only for his kindness, but for the way he cared for the street animals every single day. His heart was always open, and the animals trusted him, knowing they were safe.
His love, compassion, and dedication continue to inspire us, and his family continues his legacy.
We honor his memory by carrying on the work he cared for so deeply — giving every animal the protection, comfort, and kindness he showed so generously.
Forever remembered. Forever loved.
Lalo.
